Batesville Woman’s Club was first founded in 1937 by a group of civic-minded women who wanted to contribute to their community and promote arts and education.  In 1950 the group joined with Mississippi Federation of Women’s Clubs and became part of the national organization, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Meetings are held monthly from September through May on the second Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. unless otherwise specified in the yearbook.
